Edge Notifications – CONNECT/EVERTEL

This guide explains how to enable notifications for CONNECT when using the Microsoft Edge browser.

Option 1: Select the Bell icon

1. Open CONNECT in Microsoft Edge.
2. Look at the right side of the address bar for a Bell icon.
   • If the bell icon appears, it indicates a request for notification permissions.
3. Click on the Bell icon, then select Allow Notifications from the options.

Option 2: Select the Lock icon

1. If the Bell icon is not visible, look for the Lock icon on the left side of the address bar.
2. Click the Lock icon, and then select Site Permissions or Notifications.
3. Adjust the notification settings to Allow.

Troubleshooting

• The appearance of the icons may vary:
  • Sometimes, the bell icon is visible and provides notification options directly.
  • Other times, notification settings are accessible only via the lock icon.
• Refresh the page to prompt notification permissions again.
• Ensure Edge is updated to the latest version.
• Check if notifications are enabled in the browser settings:
  1. Go to Edge Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions > Notifications.
  2. Add CONNECT to the list of allowed sites.
